EEOC Updates Disability Bias Complaint Process

Law360, New York (February 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has proposed to amend the filing system for complaints that accuse federal agencies of preventing individuals with disabilities from accessing certain information.

All complaints filed under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 by EEOC employees or members of the public would be processed under procedures for public complaints, according to proposed changes published by the agency in the Federal Register on Tuesday.
