Dems Eye Overhaul Of Food Labeling Regs

Law360, Los Angeles (September 19, 2013, 8:33 PM EDT) -- Democratic lawmakers introduced regulations Thursday intended to reduce misleading information on food packaging labels, claiming accurate nutritional ratings systems and ingredient lists are needed to combat obesity and diet-related diseases that lead to early deaths and higher health care costs.
