Hochschild Gets Go-Ahead For $370M Peruvian Mine Project

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 3:36 PM EDT) -- Hochschild Mining PLC has received a final mill construction permit from the Peruvian government for a gold and silver mine project, clearing the way for construction to begin on the $370 million development, the British miner said Friday.

With the final permit approval secured, Hochschild can now begin construction on the Inmaculada Advanced Project, a 50,000-acre gold and silver development in southern Peru that is majority owned by the London-based firm. Production from the project is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2014....
