Conn. Pens 270-MW Deal With Clean Power Projects

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 6:26 PM EDT) -- Connecticut has selected two large-scale solar and wind energy projects to provide a combined 270 megawatts of electricity and related renewable energy credits to the state over the next two decades, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Friday.

The two projects, a solar installation in Sprague and Lisbon, Conn., and a wind farm in Maine, have signed long-term contracts with Connecticut's two major electric distribution companies, Connecticut Light & Power and the United Illuminating Co.
