AngioDynamics Renews Bid For Biolitec Sanctions In IP Row

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 8:37 PM EDT) -- Medical device manufacturer AngioDynamics Inc. on Monday renewed its bid for sanctions against German laser firm Biolitec AG in its intellectual property indemnification suit against the company, arguing that it has continued to defy court orders by failing to produce three critical witnesses.

AngioDynamics first sued Biolitec in 2009 for allegedly failing to indemnify it in two patent infringement suits over a laser treatment for varicose veins that Biolitec licensed to the company. The complaint, filed in Massachusetts federal court, accused Biolitec of violating its supply...
