Oracle, Chinese Co. Team Up For Pakistan Coalfield Project

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Oracle Coalfields LLC has signed a joint development agreement with China CAMC Engineering Co. Ltd. to develop its coal mine and power plant project in Pakistan, Oracle announced Tuesday.

Under the two-year agreement, CAMCE, which is a subsidiary of state-owned China National Machinery Industry Corp., will help Oracle find the debt financing it needs to construct the mine and power plant at the Thar coalfield.
