11th Circ. Upholds Businessman's Insurance Scam Conviction

Law360, Los Angeles (September 24, 2013, 7:24 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Tuesday upheld the 1999 conviction of a former businessman on 78 counts of racketeering, money laundering and other offenses arising from his participation in a scheme to defraud National Heritage Life Insurance Co. for more than $125 million.
