WIPO Cleared In Auditor's Report

Law360, New York (December 13, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A report by an independent auditor has cleared the World Intellectual Property Organization of allegations of irregularities, WIPO said Tuesday.

In a report submitted by Ernst & Young, the international audit and consultancy firm states that “we cannot conclude that certain employees of WIPO and third parties concerned might have committed any fraud or dishonest acts,” WIPO said in a press release Tuesday.
