Enviros Push To Stop Enbridge Tar Sands Pipeline Project

Law360, Washington (September 27, 2013, 5:03 PM EDT) -- Two environmental groups urged a Washington federal judge on Friday to prevent Enbridge Inc.'s proposed 589-mile tar sands oil pipeline from moving forward because the federal government has not conducted a full environmental study on the project, claiming several agencies failed to consider the entire pipeline when it approved various portions of the plan.
