Law360, Los Angeles (September 30, 2013, 7:43 PM EDT) -- Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP escaped sanctions in Delaware federal court that had been imposed on it for filing a suit on behalf of an oil tycoon in a dispute over ownership of an oil field in Kazakhstan, after appellate courts had dismissed the suit twice, according to a decision Monday.
U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark lifted sanctions on plaintiff Jack Grynberg and the law firm in a decision he described as “frustrating.”
