Novartis Takes Aim At Cross-Appeal In Zometa Suit

Law360, New York (October 1, 2013, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. on Monday fought a cross appeal by plaintiffs who had won a $250,000 jury verdict in March over a bone disease allegedly caused by the Swiss drug giant’s cancer-related bone damage drug Zometa but are seeking punitive damages that the jury declined to award them.
