Court Allows Brewer Co-Worker Retaliation Claims

Law360 (February 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appellate court has reinstated a former Anheuser-Busch female worker's retaliation claims against the brewer based on allegations that a male co-worker set fire to her car after she denied his sexual advances.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on Tuesday remanded back to an Ohio federal court Cherri Hill's Title VII retaliation claims, as well as hostile work environment claims asserted by Hill and another worker, Jackie Cunningham, after reversing the lower court's summary judgment order in favor of Anheuser-Busch....
