Pa. Utility Defends Settlement Tied To Power Line Death

Law360, Philadelphia (October 1, 2013, 5:38 PM EDT) -- West Penn Power Co. on Monday defended a proposed settlement with the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission connected to the 2009 death of a woman who was struck by a fallen power line, arguing efforts by the woman’s family to increase the frequency of power line inspections should be disregarded.
