Patton Boggs Sues Korean Coal Co. Over $1M In Unpaid Fees

Law360, Washington (October 1, 2013, 7:27 PM EDT) -- Patton Boggs LLP on Friday sued former client Keystone Global Co. Ltd. in Washington, D.C., court, alleging the Korean coal wholesaler stiffed it on nearly $1 million in legal fees and costs owed for work done on behalf of the company.

According to the complaint, filed in D.C. Superior Court, Keystone racked up just over $925,000 in legal bills for work done by the law firm between April 2012 and January this year, but has failed to pay the firm’s invoices, despite repeated requests.
