GE Wins $600M Parts Contract For Russia LNG Project

Law360, New York (October 2, 2013, 2:57 PM EDT) -- General Electric Co.'s oil and gas unit has received a $600 million contract from OAO Novatek and its project partners to provide equipment for the $20 billion Yamal liquefied natural gas development in northern Russia, GE announced Wednesday.

The massive natural gas project in northern Siberia is majority owned by Novatek, which is building a gas liquefaction facility with a production capacity of 16.5 million tons per year.
