Court Of Federal Claims Dismisses Suit Over NIH Contract

Law360, Los Angeles (October 2, 2013, 9:29 PM EDT) -- The federal government on Tuesday won a bid to ditch a suit brought by small business contractor Mori Associates Inc. alleging an unfair bidding process for IT contracts with for the National Institutes of Health when a federal claims judge ruled the claims fell outside the court’s jurisdiction.

Judge Victor J. Wolski granted the government’s motion to dismiss the suit, finding that the nature of Mori’s claims places it outside the jurisdiction of the federal claims court, according to Tuesday’s ruling.
