Gay Spouses Promised ACA Exchange Credits, Not Medicaid

Law360, New York (October 2, 2013, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Federal regulators confirmed Friday that same-sex spouses will be treated just like opposite-sex spouses when seeking tax credits on Affordable Care Act health insurance exchanges, but said states will not be forced to recognize gay couples for purposes of Medicaid expansion.
