Fight Over Wis. Collective Bargaining Law Heads To 7th Circ.

Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 9:23 PM EDT) -- Two union locals are appealing to the Seventh Circuit a ruling upholding a controversial Wisconsin law championed by Gov. Scott Walker that gutted government workers’ collective bargaining rights.

Laborers Local 236 and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 60 filed a notice Tuesday that they were appealing U.S. District Judge William M. Conley's Sept. 11 decision granting a motion for judgment on the pleadings from Gov. Walker and state labor officials.
