Pa. Judge Can Open Ex-Partners' Books In Fee Row

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 2:36 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania appeals court ruled Monday that Allegheny Court of Common Pleas Judge Philip A. Ignelzi can inspect the books of his former partners at the now-dissolved firm Ogg Cordes Murphy & Ignelzi LLP in his breach-of-contract suit seeking owed fees, despite the partners’ claim it would violate client confidentiality.
