Weil’s Dallas Woes Exacerbated By Long-Term Lease

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 9:43 PM EDT) -- Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP's ongoing attorney losses in Texas mean not only dwindling revenue in the state, but an overabundance of office space that threatens to hurt the firm's bottom line, real estate experts said Tuesday.

Just nine months ago, the New York-based firm committed to a 14-year, 87,000-square-foot lease for offices in an upscale, mixed-used complex in uptown Dallas known as The Crescent, which has been the branch's home for two decades.
