DA Says It's Apologies Or Jail For Convicted Pa. Justice

Law360, Philadelphia (October 9, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania prosecutor on Tuesday ripped recent efforts by convicted former state Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin to avoid sending out apology letters as a part of her corruption sentence, telling an appeals court that the only alternative for the disgraced jurist is prison.
