Atty Can't Revive Subpoena In Faruqi Sex Harassment Fight

Law360, New York (October 9, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- The New York federal judge overseeing a former associate's sexual harassment suit against Faruqi & Faruqi LLP refused Wednesday to resurrect her subpoena related to a $15 million countersuit the firm recently abandoned, saying she was seeking confidential and irrelevant information.

U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein denied Alexandra Marchuk's motion for reconsideration of a Sept. 30 decision that quashed a subpoena for Business Intelligence Associates Inc., which Faruqi & Faruqi said it retained to do a forensic investigation on certain computers.
