Women's Group Urges Reversal Of Ledbetter Ruling

Law360 (February 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A legal advocacy group for women has launched a letter writing campaign to urge the Senate to pass a law that would reverse the Supreme Court's controversial decision in a case that critics say has severely curtailed employees' right to sue for pay discrimination.

The National Women's Law Center circulated a letter Friday urging Senators to back the Fair Pay Restoration Act S. 1843, which would overturn the high court's decision in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
