Russian Fund, Deutsche Bank Invest $237M In Rostelecom

Law360, New York (October 11, 2013, 2:13 PM EDT) -- A Russian sovereign wealth fund has teamed up with Deutsche Bank AG to make a $237.1 million joint investment in Rostelecom OJSC, Russia's largest telecommunications company, in exchange for a minority equity stake, the fund and bank said Friday.

The investment will come from Deutsche Bank and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, a $10 billion fund established by Russia's government to invest in the country's economy.
