FERC Urges DC Circ. To Back Group's Power To Fine Feds

Law360, New York (October 17, 2013, 1:14 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission told the D.C. Circuit on Tuesday that the Federal Power Act authorizes a nonprofit industry group overseeing the nation’s electric grids to fine all users, owners and operators of bulk-power systems, including federal agencies, for not meeting reliability standards.
