CORRECTED: PTC Says Ex-Sales Director Tried To Nab Client For Rival

Law360, New York (October 15, 2013, 9:36 PM EDT) -- Technology services company PTC Inc. on Tuesday sued a former sales director and the competitor he now works for, claiming he tried to steal a client away from PTC and violated a noncompete agreement.

Massachusetts-based PTC claims former North American sales director Scott Starr resigned in June and “immediately” joined PTC competitor Centric Software Inc. as vice president of sales, breaking a one-year noncompete agreement Starr signed with PTC and taking proprietary information about PTC’s products.
