EU Reviewing Dumping Duties On Chinese, Indian Acid

Law360, New York (October 16, 2013, 2:44 PM EDT) -- The European Union said Wednesday that it has opened an investigation to determine whether allowing anti-dumping duties to expire on certain acid imports from China and India would harm the European industry.

The European Commission has launched an expiry review of an anti-dumping duty order on Chinese and Indian sulfanilic acid, a material that, among other applications, can be used in food coloring and certain dyes, according to a notice in Wednesday's EU Official Journal.
