Canada Closes In On Trade Agreement With EU

Law360, New York (October 16, 2013, 4:54 PM EDT) -- Canada's prime minister indicated Wednesday that the country is close to finishing negotiations for a trade agreement with the European Union — news that was met with criticism from a Canadian dairy farmers' group that said the deal will hurt the country's cheese industry.

Posting on his Twitter page Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said his country is close to wrapping up discussions for a proposed trade pact with the EU.
