Keurig's Patents Exhausted At Point Of Sale, Fed. Circ. Says

Law360, New York (October 17, 2013, 4:09 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Thursday upheld a ruling that a dry goods manufacturer didn’t infringe Keurig Inc.’s method patents by making competing cartridges that fit in its coffee brewers, finding that Keurig’s patent rights are exhausted by the initial sale of its brewers.
