Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 2:05 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Monday downplayed the seriousness of technical troubles that have abounded since the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance marketplaces debuted three weeks ago, describing them as temporary inconveniences that ultimately won’t prevent anyone from getting coverage.

The president’s address in the White House Rose Garden, delivered to a friendly audience, repeatedly acknowledged significant problems with the federal portal for three dozen insurance exchanges but also suggested that concerns about a sluggish website have been overblown.
