Insurance Watchdog Seeks Input On Global Oversight Plan

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 6:53 PM EDT) -- A global insurance watchdog on Friday released details on a proposed framework for coordinating oversight of large, internationally active insurers, seeking input on the plan from stakeholders while also ramping up efforts to ensure even implementation of its standards

The International Association of Insurance Supervisors unveiled the 2013 draft of the Common Framework for supervising internationally active insurance groups, or ComFrame, and asked insurance regulators, insurers and other stakeholders to provide input on its latest proposal by Dec. 16.
