New Walgreen Model Raises Privacy Concerns, Sen. Says

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 6:00 PM EDT) -- Walgreen Co. could be asking for trouble under federal privacy law by introducing a new business model in which pharmacists step out from behind the counter to discuss medications and conditions with customers on the drugstore's main floor, a U.S. senator said in a letter released Friday.
