St. Pete Asks Fla. High Court To Mull Workers Comp Question

Law360, Miami (October 22, 2013, 7:19 PM EDT) -- The city of St. Petersburg, Fla., on Monday asked the Florida Supreme Court to review a ruling allowing a disabled firefighter who maxed out on temporary disability benefits to immediately claim permanent ones.

St. Petersburg filed a cross notice to invoke the discretionary jurisdiction of the state's high court, two weeks after disabled city firefighter and paramedic Bradley Westphal did the same.
