10th Circ. Deals Blow To Wyo. Wind Farm Opposition

Law360, Los Angeles (October 22, 2013, 8:57 PM EDT) -- The Tenth Circuit on Monday upheld federal energy regulators' support of Wyoming wind farm company Wasatch Wind Intermountain LLC, striking down a bid by local landowners to block federal certification of the project because they lacked standing.

The Northern Laramie Range Alliance sought to block Wasatch from being certified by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, which would require utilities to buy Wasatch's power.
