EPA Revises Testing For Waste Regulation Compliance

Law360, New York (October 23, 2013, 6:17 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday proposed updated waste evaluation guidance containing 23 new or revised testing methods for monitoring and complying with federal standards for hazardous and nonhazardous solid waste.

Companies that treat, store or dispose solid waste materials covered under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act should follow the recently updated guidelines for the EPA's physical and chemical test methods to evaluate solid waste, according to a notice published in the Federal Register.
