Kasowitz Adds Ex-Bush Adviser To Gov't Affairs Group

Law360, Chicago (October 23, 2013, 5:42 PM EDT) -- Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP said Wednesday that it has hired a former legal adviser to the first Bush administration, and later to a U.S. Senate committee, for its government affairs practice, adding another seasoned beltway insider to a group that already includes former Senator Joseph Lieberman.

Mark Heilbrun, who had worked with Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP since 2009, is joining Kasowitz as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office, bringing proven expertise in both national security and cybersecurity matters, according to Kasowitz's statement....
