EMC Launches Latest Suit Over Exodus To Rival Storage Co.

Law360, New York (October 23, 2013, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Data storage giant EMC Corp. sued yet another employee Friday for taking trade secrets to Pure Storage Inc., a suit the company said was part of a “larger drama” over numerous employees jumping ship to the surging upstart rival.

EMC, the largest computer storage company in the world, filed suit against former sales representative Chadwick Johnson in Massachusetts federal court, accusing him of breaching an employment contract by misappropriating highly sensitive and confidential commercial material when he left for Pure Storage.
