ACLU Objects To Attys' Fees Reduction In Free Speech Case

Law360, Los Angeles (October 23, 2013, 4:30 PM EDT) -- The ACLU Voting Rights Project and other civil rights groups on Wednesday urged the Sixth Circuit to overturn a district court ruling slashing attorneys' fees in a free speech case that struck down an Ohio campaign contribution law, arguing the ruling would make lawyers less likely to accept fee-shifting cases.
