Law Grads Suing Over Job Statistics Denied Class Cert.

Law360, Los Angeles (October 23, 2013, 8:15 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Monday refused to grant class certification in a suit brought by four graduates of Thomas Jefferson School of Law who claim they were misled by the school’s false and inaccurate employment statistics, saying the case should be resolved through individual actions.

The decision comes a year after TJSL fired back at the action challenging the school’s post-graduate employment statistics, releasing court documents asserting that one of the plaintiffs turned down a full-time, $60,000-a-year job at an unnamed law firm. The graduates...
