SEC Followed Orders On Conflict Minerals, DC Circ. Told

Law360, Los Angeles (October 23, 2013, 9:32 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission struck back against business groups challenging a Dodd-Frank rule that requires companies to reveal to the SEC if they utilize conflict minerals in their products, telling the D.C. Circuit on Wednesday that the agency had been following Congress’ orders by enacting the challenged rule.
