CPSC Officials Say Cuts Imperil Import Oversight Program

Law360, New York (October 30, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission could be forced to choose sooner than it had hoped whether to keep a nascent import surveillance effort at U.S. ports alive because of the automatic federal budget cuts widely known as sequestration, agency officials said Wednesday.
