State Dept. Agrees To Hand Over Keystone Lobbying Docs

Law360, New York (October 24, 2013, 6:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of State on Tuesday agreed to release its communications with lobbyists, law firms and other entities linked to TransCanada Corp.'s Keystone XL pipeline project to an environmental group that sued the agency for access to the records.

Friends of the Earth and the State Department filed a joint statement in Washington federal court confirming they have agreed to a timeline for the government to produce documents previously sought as part of an expedited Freedom of Information Act request.
