BLM's Land Auction For Solar Projects Ends With A Flop

Law360, New York (October 24, 2013, 5:30 PM EDT) -- The Bureau of Land Management's public auction of 3,705 acres of Colorado land for the development of utility-scale solar energy conducted Thursday sparked little interest, with zero offers on the table, according to the agency.

“We did not have anybody come to the sale nor did we have any sealed bids,” BLM spokeswoman Vanessa Lacayo said Thursday afternoon.
