Renewable Fuel Cos. Strike Deal In Contract Dispute

Law360, New York (February 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two renewable fuel companies have reached an agreement aimed at settling a breach of contract suit in which AG Environmental Products LLC accused World Energy Alternatives LLC of reneging on an agreement to buy millions of pounds of methyl ester.

The case hasn't been formally dismissed yet, but will be in a holding pattern until January 2009, when the settlement is expected to have been “fully performed and completed,” according to an order U.S. District Judge Thomas D. Thalken signed on Monday.
