UK To Ban Hospitals' Use Of Many Metal Hip Implants

Law360, New York (October 29, 2013, 8:20 PM EDT) -- Citing the high failure rate of metal-on-metal hip implants, a U.K. regulator will reportedly ban publicly funded hospitals from using most of the devices, a more drastic step than the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's.
