Highmark, UPMC Tentative Deal To End Antitrust Suit Hits Snag

Law360, New York (October 29, 2013, 3:54 PM EDT) -- Highmark Inc. asked a Pennsylvania federal court Tuesday to force the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to sign a mutual release, containing clarifying language, in the tentative agreement meant to end their long-running antitrust dispute over Highmark’s acquisition of a rival hospital system.
