House Members Launch Congressional TPP Caucus

Law360, Washington (October 30, 2013, 3:50 PM EDT) -- Four bipartisan congressmen launched a caucus Tuesday that will focus on the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership, supporting the agreement they say would bolster the U.S. economy by supporting domestic jobs and increased exports to Asia-Pacific markets.

Reps. Dave Reichert, R-Wash.; Ron Kind, D-Wis.; Charles W. Boustany Jr., R-La.; and Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., will co-chair the Friends of the Trans-Pacific Partnership caucus, and all four praised the proposed trade agreement's ability break down trade barriers.
