Ex-Qwest VP Pleads Guilty In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (December 30, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former executive of telecommunications company Qwest Communications has reached a plea bargain with federal prosecutors, pleading guilty to one count of mail fraud and agreeing to cooperate with the investigation into former Qwest CEO Ralph Nacchio.

Marc Weisberg, a former executive vice president with the company, was set to go to trial next week on charges of using inside information for personal benefit.
