Majoras To Step Down As FTC Head In March

Law360, New York (February 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- With many senior government officials looking to the future as the Bush administration winds down, U.S Federal Trade Commission Chairman Deborah Platt Majoras revealed Thursday she will be resigning from the agency in late March.

Majoras, who was appointed by President George W. Bush and sworn into office in August 2004, is the latest in a series of Bush administration officials to jump ship as the presidency winds to a close. She leaves the five-member regulatory panel with two Republicans, a Democrat and an independent....
