Blackstone Pitches $1.2B Cross-Border Green Power Line

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 1:28 PM EDT) -- A Blackstone Group LP subsidiary has proposed building an estimated $1.2 billion power transmission line that would run from Quebec across the Canadian border to Ludlow, Vt., a project that would deliver 1,000 megawatts of renewable hydropower to New England, it was announced Thursday.
